Organizing Health Reform
What are the best ways to move health reform from the idea stage to enactment to implementation? Many states have created new state agencies or quasi-governmental organizations to either develop recommendations for reform or to implement those reforms once enacted. This panel will look at emerging issues in the Medicaid and SCHIP programs updating participants on activity at the Federal level affecting these programs, including SCHIP reauthorization and ongoing efforts to comply with the citizenship regulations.
